Nursing Home Patient Autopsy Leads To Federal Fine

A nursing home has been fined $11,513 after the death investigation of a patient. The fine was made federally and exceeded the state amount of $8,000. The patient died of lack of oxygen according to an autopsy. 

The nursing home was fined for lack of proper use of a portable oxygen tank. The patient was not receiving the necessary amount to live. For more, read the story
