Nursing Home Patient Death Raises Care Concerns

The family of a former nursing home patient is questioning the care of their loved one after his sudden death. The patient was admitted to the nursing home after suffering a stroke. He was then allowed to fall and admitted to the hospital for a reported hip injury. 

Hiwever, the hospital test results revealed a brain bleed. The fall occurred just three days after he was admitted. The nursing home has previous violations and citations for allowing falls. As a result, they were fined $25,000. For more, read the story
