Nursing Home Patient Develops C. Diff, Dies

A nursing home patient receiving negligent care was allowed to develop a C. diff infection. The infection along with kidney failure led to the patient’s death. The family is now pursuing a lawsuit for damages. 

C. diff is an infection that involves the digestion tract. The elderly are most susceptible to the infection, especially in nursing homes.
