Nursing Home Patient Dies After Failure To Perform CPR

Four nurses have been cited for failing to provide a patient with CPR after assuming the patient would not want it. The nurses found that the patient was not responding and decided she was first too upset and later too hard, stiff and had been dead awhile.

The state health department cited the facility as having put 45 other patients lives in danger. The nursing staff had to bed reeducated on when to perform CPR. For more, read the story.
