A nursing home patient has died after falling into a creek. The patient was in a wheelchair who fell out of the chair and into the creek. He was in cardiac arrest when found and died just 20 minutes later.
The patient was checked out of the facility per the corporate owners of the nursing home. The nursing home is conducting an internal investigation to identify any possible actions that could have prevented the patient’s death. For more, read the story.
