A nursing home is under investigation after the death of a patient. The family is speaking about the facility's lack of care and failure to notify of a fall. The patient died just 9 days after being admitted.
“She would still be here today had they contacted us,” said the patient's daughter. “I just don't understand how somebody makes a fall out of the bed … and ends up like that.” The family staff waited hours to contact the family after the fall.
