Nursing homes have been investigated for early discharges of patients incapable of caring for themselves. For one patient whose needs were greater than the facility was willing to provide, the patient was dropped off at assisted living facility where he formally lived but no longer had a lease.
He had seizures and was no longer capable of caring for himself. A state revealed he was dumped without pepper protocol. For more, read the story.
