A family member of a nursing home neglect victim is speaking out on behalf of his mother and other patients still at the nursing home. He says his mother suffered bed sores and was not bathed at the home. He also says he has pages of notes regarding neglect observed.
His mother was discharged to the hospital and declined from returning to the nursing home. A complaint was filed with the state department of health and substantiated, citing other issues at the facility. The victim’s son plans to continue speaking out to prevent further neglect of patients at the facility now and in the future. For more, read the story.
