A nursing home patient is dead after suffering injuries from a fall. The patient suffered contusions and a scalp lacerations. Nursing home staff did not provide properly timed medical treatment after the fall. Without proper medical treatment and internal bruising allowed to worsen, the patient was allowed to die under the care of the nursing home staff.
The executor of the patient’s estate has filed a lawsuit for failing to provide proper supervision from numerous falls and for proper treatment at the time of the falls. The patient died within a month of the falls. For more, read the story.
