A nursing home patient allowed to suffer from MRSA has filed a lawsuit. The lawsuit cites negligent care due to the fact that the patient was first allowed to suffer from MRSA and then was not properly treated after contracting it. The patient sued for damages due to pain and suffering that could and should have been avoided.
The patient fortunately did not die, but could have due to the seriousness of this type of disease. Therefore, she chose to file a lawsuit for damages of suffering. For more, read the story.
