A special program in one area allowed a nursing home patient to come home for Christmas. The program offered this patient the opportunity to spend Christmas at home with her family. Spending her first year at a nursing home, she would have been unable to come home without the generosity and help of the program.
She was escorted in an ambulance and brought to her family's home to celebrate with them. Her family was very grateful for the ability to have her home with them. For more, read the story.
