Falls are the number one cause of injury in nursing homes. Falls often come from lack of supervision due to inadequate staffing or training on how to best care for a patient to prevent falls. A patient at one particular nursing home was no exception. The patient fell saying she was inadequately supervised.
As a result of the fall, the patient suffered a rare type of fracture to the elbow. She has now filed a lawsuit to for damages. For more, read the story.
