Nursing Home Patient Tied To Wheelchair, Sedated

A nursing home patient and her daughter are suing a nursing home facility and its parent company. The patient was allegedly tied to her wheelchair with bed sheets. She was then administered a narcotic sedative. 

The nursing home is denying the allegation, although the state health department cited the facility for the incident. “It seems to not only be a cover-up but a concerted cover-up at the expense of these residents who are paying to be protected and to have their health … taken care of,” said the patient's attorney.
