Nursing Home Patient Transfers After Claiming Abuse By Caregiver

A nursing home patient has moved out of her facility after claiming abuse by a nursing home employee. The nursing home patient claims she suffered a sprained arm, bladder infection and severe dehydration. She lived at the facility for five years before transferring to another nursing home. The patient says she was assaulted and abused.

Police are investigating the situation, but would not comment on their findings at this point. The facility is cooperating with the investigation, and at this time denies wrongdoing. However, the surprise comes from the fact that the patient has not had any concerns or complaints for five years prior to the allegations made when she left the home. For more, read the story
