Nursing Home Patient Wrongful Death

A nursing home patient has died after the nursing home failed to put a proper care plan in place. The patient's care plan should have addressed the fact that she was a high fall risk and needed special protocols in place to prevent falls. The patient died shortly after a fall that should have been prevented.

The patient had injuries from the fall that led to her death. A proper care plan carried out by the nursing home staff may have prevented the fall and ultimately her death.  For more, read the story.
