A nursing home fire broke out when a resident’s bed caught on fire. The bed was close to an air conditioning unit and the coils sparked a fire. The resident was taken from the bed along with other residents who were evacuated.
Some patients were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire was contained as firefighters came on the scene. For more, read the story.
