Nursing Home Patients Experience Virus, Isolation

Causes of a virus, possibly the norovirus have been under investigation at a nursing home. The nursing home had 14 cases of the same types of symptoms for patients, leading to a quarantine of patients to their rooms, and a closing of the cafeteria. At least one patient was sent to the hospital testing positive for the norovirus.

 However, the other patients have not been officially tested to determine if that was the cause of all patients’ symptoms. The virus seems to have left the building and patients have been allowed out of their rooms and back into the cafeteria after the ordeal. For more, read the story
