Nursing Home Patient's Family Wrongfully Informed Of Patient Death

Family members of a nursing home patient were wrongly informed of her death. The nursing home has two patients with the same name and failed to verify the correct family and contact information for the patient. The family rushed to the nursing home facility from two hours away.

“I called again at 5:30,” the patient's daughter said. “I asked if there had there been any change: Any responsiveness? Any pulse? Any anything? She stated that they were still working on her but she was deceased.”  when the family arrived they found out they were incorrectly informed. For more, read the story
