Nursing home patients received gifts from a local hospital to ensure everyone received something for Christmas. Hospital staff collectively provide presents for patients. A group of the employees gather and hand out the presents every year.
This year 106 gifts were passed out to patients. “It’s something we’ve done every year for the past nine years. We have employees in both of our hospitals donate a gift so nobody gets left out,” said a hospital representative. .For more, read the story.
