Nursing home patients at a nursing home facility received a special Valentine’s Day treat. A volunteer brought a miniature horse bearing Valentine’s Day cards for each patient. The cards were provided by members of four church youth groups.
“Some of the people that we took Valentine’s to yesterday, they said ‘We are so happy that somebody cared enough to bring a Valentine’s card,’ ” said the miniature horse handler. For more, read the story.
