Nursing Home Patients Receive Valentine's Day Card From Local Students

Students at a local school are creating Valentine's Day cards for patients at nursing homes and a hospital in the area. Teachers believe it is beneficial both for the children making the cards and the adults receiving them. The children hope to bring happiness to the patients in the nursing homes and hospital.

 “Art heals people, both by making it and by getting it, and it's a very simple thing to give a card to someone who might not be getting anything if they're in a nursing home,” said a teacher from the school. For more, read the story
