A woman posing as a healthcare worker has been sentenced to 65 years in jail after stealing thousands of dollars, jewelry, and other keepsakes from nursing home patients. The patients ranged in ages from their 70s to 100. Loved ones of the patients could not believe the woman stole from their parents.
One patient called her son with tears over the wrongdoing. The woman claimed to be hooked on cocaine, although no evidence was presented to prove it to be true.
