A family member of a nursing home patient has alerted a whistleblower hotline out of concerns of quality of patient care at the facility where her family member is a patient. The whistleblower notes the lack of toileting care and smell of urine in the hallway. “It really smells like urine all the way down the halls, and some of them will sit in those Depends pretty much for half a day, at least,” says an Anonymous Person.
She is very concerned and appalled with the treatment. “These people are the ones that raised us all and fought the wars, now they're getting treated like this,” says the woman. She believes staffing is a major cause for the lack of care. For more, read the story.
