A nursing home pharmaceutical company has settled claims two separate issues with selling drugs. One of the settlement claims was for illegally selling medication to treat anemia. The settlement to resolve the medication sold to treat anemia was in the amount of $2.5 million for health care fraud.
A second settlement claim was made for illegally promoting drugs to treat epilepsy and bipolar disorder. The pharmaceutical company was connecting with another drug manufacturer for kickbacks.
