Nursing Home Place Patients In Imminent Danger

A nursing home has placed patients in imminent danger as family members of the patients testify about the poor quality care their loved ones have received. One family member spoke of poor hygiene and uncleanliness for her mother. She also spoke of items being stolen, while her mother lay in crusted food, coffee and urine stains.

Another family member of a different patient found his father deceased in his bed when he came to visit. The patient had been dead for three hours prior to his son's visit. The facility is being surveyed for the incident. Prior violations include 22 safety violations and 68 health violations. For more, read the story.
