One in three of a state’s nursing homes in the western region have been ranked the lowest possible rating. One area affecting the overall ratings was low staffing in nursing home facilities. Staffing affects the overall rating of the 5-star ranking system.
Only one nursing home received the full 5-star rating available to those facilities that meet all criteria. The average national ranking was 3.16. For more, read the story.
