A man is in custody after he reportedly sexually battered a fellow nursing home resident. The 53-year-old faces one charge of sexual battery as a result of incidents alleged to have occurred last Friday.
According to reports, the victim in the told police that a fellow resident had entered her room and touched her inappropriately before exposing himself and asking her for sexual favors. The victim then alerted the nursing staff and the man fled her room.
The man denied any wrongdoing when questioned by police. Bond was set in the case at $5,000 with the condition that the man have no contact with the alleged victim or the nursing home. For more, read the story.
