Nursing Home Resident Breaks Mentally Handicapped Roommate's Nose

A 72-year-old nursing home resident is accused of punching hisĀ  roommate in the face. The man who lives in the nursing home has been charged with aggravated battery after breaking another resident’s nose. He was released on $10,000 bail.

The event was said to occur after the man’s roommate accidentally bumped him with a wheelchair, according to an arrest affidavit. This set the man off he police say he “popped” his roommate twice in the nose. The victim is mentally handicapped. For more, read the story.
