A nursing home resident had to be hospitalized this week after she was aggressively attacked by another resident. The female victim was outside her room when a 53-year-old male resident went after with his wheelchair and knocked her down.
According to a witness at the facility, the male resident wheeled the chair at the woman intending to hit and injure her. The victim was treated at the hospital for abrasions and head and back pain. She has since been released. Police have not yet confirmed whether any charges will be filed against the resident, an amputee who suffers from depression and diabetes. For more, read the story.
