A nursing home is under fire for more deficiencies after survey reports were released. The facility already has a history of failures to offer quality care to its patients in a clean and safe environment. Some of the failures involve direct patient care while others involve the facility itself.
Faculty staff failed to administer medication correctly, maintain policies for record keeping, and properly feed residents. The facility also had holes, rust stains, and broken bathroom dispensers. The facility was fined more than $23,000 in the past, and currently has a wrongful death lawsuit pending. For more, read the story.
