Nursing Home Shortages Put Lives at Risk, According to Head of National Advocacy Group

Families trust nursing homes to keep their loved ones safe. This care includes an expectation for nursing home staff to timely respond to residents’ calls of distress. As some nursing homes become alarmingly short-staffed, individuals and groups have expressed their concern about residents’ safety.
