Nursing Home Shows High Carbon Monoxide Levels

A patient at one nursing home requiring paramedics revealed a serious concern for the facility. When the paramedics arrived to treat the patient they also found that the nursing home facility had high levels of carbon monoxide in the building, putting many people in danger. The firefighters in the area were immediately contacted to fix the problem.

Once the firefighters arrived they were able to detect and fix what was causing the unusually high carbon monoxide levels without having to further treat or remove residents from the facility. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the facility did not have functioning carbon monoxide detectors. For more, read the story.
