Nursing home patients are showing red flags of abuse as nursing home employees are being investigated for their behavior towards patients in the home. Some patients exhibited bruising, while others were witnessed being strangled and hit, or having ice thrown down their clothes.
In reference to bruising on a patient, a caseworker for nursing homes in the area said, “It needs to be something that's explained. If there's no explanation on how that happened, there should be a reason and that would be a red flag.” For more, read the story.
