Nursing Home Staff Fails To Prevent Patient's Suicide

A patient has died after committing suicide. The nursing home is now being investigated by the state health department and has been cited for improper procedures. Nursing home staff was aware that the patient was threatening suicide. 

Notes in the patient's record showed that there was a note that the patient was planning on suicide. The nursing home staff failed to take action that could have prevented the suicide. For more, read the story
