Nursing Home Staff Sentenced For Not Attending Patient In Distress

Three nurses have been sentenced to three years probation after allowing an alarm to sound for more than an hour without responding.  One nurse will also serve 840 hours of probation as part of her sentence. A patient had serious medical needs and was in distress. The nurses did not respond to those needs. The patient died and the nursing staff did not offer any apologies to the family. For more, read the story
