Nursing homes are experiencing an increasing shortage of staff according to nursing home administration in one state. Many nursing homes struggle with staffing shortages, which lead to neglect of patients. However, this is the worst it has been according to a nursing home CEO, “I will tell you in the 20 years I've done this, staffing has been an issue. In 20 years, this is the worst I've seen it.”

With staffing at a low and the baby boomer generation aging at a high rate.
