A nursing home patient's loved ones are filing a lawsuit against a nursing home for negligent treatment. “Throughout his stay at [the nursing home], [the patient] has been subjected to mistreatment, neglect and/or abuse,” the lawsuit alleges. The patient had various incidents listed.
The incidents included failure to take the steps necessary to prevent a fall, to change his clothes when he soiled them, to ensure he could use his call light, and to treat his pain or provide pain medication as prescribed. He also contracted MRSA and a UTI. For more, read the story.
