Nursing Home Surveillance Reveals Employee Was Guilty Of Abuse

A nursing home facility fired one of their nursing home employees, because the woman was caught on video tape pushing one of the home’s residents to the ground. The video tape shows that the resident had opened a drawer and when the woman walked in she closed the drawer and then pushed the resident to the floor. When first confronted about the incident the woman claimed that it was an accidental fall.

However, upon reviewing the video surveillance it was confirmed she purposefully shoved the resident. Due to the video surveillance evidence, she then pleaded guilty. The former nursing home was sentenced to probation and community service. The nursing home facility for which the woman worked made it clear the employee was immediately fired from her job and that thankfully, the resident that had been shoved recovered well.
