Nursing Home Theft Involves Medication And Money Of Patient

A nursing assistant has been arrested on counts of larceny for stealing from a patient. The theft included drugs and money. The son of the victim noticed that his mother’s prescription pills had been switched and that money was missing in the amount of $700. He contacted police who then installed a hidden camera in the patient’s room.

The nursing assistant was caught on video replacing the prescription medication while the patient was not in the room. The first theft occurred while the patient was out of the facility with a broken leg. For more, read the story.
