Nursing Home Theft Leads To Investigation

A nursing home aide was charged with a felony after police were notified of a missing piece of jewelry. A patient at the nursing home where the aide work was missing a wedding ring. Valued at over $1,000, the ring was sold at a pawn shop after the aide stole it. 

The charges against the aide included felony counts of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. The aide was released pending prosecution for the charges. For more, read the story
