Nursing Home Under Fire For Two Patient Deaths

Two nursing home patients have died within months of each other raising questions about the level of care provided at the facility. One patient was allowed to be assisted by one person instead of a required two person assistance. The patient also was not provided with the proper lift device. The patient fell on the caregiver and suffered injuries. The patient soon after died at the hospital.

Another patient was not provided with CPR due to a nurse's misunderstanding of the patient's files. The patient also was not provided with a defibrillator as the standard of care required. The patient died without proper care. For more, read the story.
