Nursing Home Under Investigation After Employees Fired For Misconduct

Following reports of misconduct, eight employees at a state run nursing home facility were fired. As a result of the misconduct, one of the patients was allegedly injured. A disability rights organization is looking into the conduct of employees and treatment of patients along with the state.

Certainly, we want to investigate as quickly as possible to make sure folks are safe.” The facility has more than 1,000 employees and 280 residents. For more, read the story
