Nursing Home Under Investigation For Not Reporting Abuse To Families

A nursing home is under investigation for not reporting a lewd act performed by an employee. A certified nursing assistant made sexually suggestive commments to a patient in the presence of others. The family was not notified, nor was the incident documented.

The president of the nursing home stated that they did not notify anyone because it seems the employee was just horsing around. However, not notifying families of this type of occurrence is against reporting policies.  For more, read the story. ____________________________________________________________________________
