Nursing Home Under Review For Termination Of Medicare Support

A nursing home facility that is currently out of compliance with medicare regulations is also under review for termination of medicare support.  The facility was cited for allowing patients to be in immediate jeopardy. The citations came forth after a hidden camera was placed in a patient's room. The video footage revealed abuse of a nursing home patient when he fell to the floor and called for help. The nursing staff took over an hour to come to his aid.

The nursing home was fined $30,927 in association with the citation of immediate jeopardy.
