CNAs formerly employed at a nursing home are retaliating after being fired from their positions at the facility. The CNAs claim that the nursing home was allowing patients to be tied to their wheelchairs with bedsheets. They raised concerns about the practice and were shortly after fired.
The nurses met with the nursing home's executive director and director of nursing, at which point they were asked to deny their statements about the patients being tied with bedsheets. When they refused they were reported to the state licensure office for making false statements. In response, the CNAs decided to sue the nursing home. For more, read the story.
