A nursing home employee has been charged with two twenty year felonies after being fired. The accusations came after the employee did not produce standard accounting records. An accountant was brought in to audit the nursing home’s account.
According to the financial records, the employee embezzled $460,000 from the nursing home residents. The accountant said the records showed “several significant points of financial concern.” For more, read the story.
