Nursing Home Worker Injures Patient While Intoxicated

A nursing home caregiver pleaded guilty to abuse and neglect and being sentenced to 12 months, but was ultimately given 24 months probation. The certified nursing assistant arrived at work intoxicated. A patient’s arm was injured under the circumstances. 

The nursing home worker was indicted for one count of reckless adult abuse and neglect. The caregiver will appear before a grand jury in the coming months. For more, read the story
