Nursing Home Workers Plead Guilty To Abuse

Two nursing home workers have pleaded guilty to charges for nursing home abuse and neglect. One nursing home worker stole prescription medication from patients. She stole more than 5,000 hydrocodone tablets within a three month period. She is required to pay back $4,600, serve a five-year prison term, and will have her license removed during the probation term.

The second nursing home worker pleaded guilty to verbal abuse, harassment, and intimidation. The nursing home worker videoed the patient using her cell phone and taunted and harassed her. For more, read the story.
