Nursing Home Wrongful Death Case Filed

A nursing home is under investigation due to a wrongful death claim from an incident where a patient suffered a stroke and did not receive proper care. The patient was admitted to the hospital after he was discovered unconscious. The nursing home subsequently would not release documents describing the incident. 

“[The nursing home's] facilities have a long history of interfering with plaintiff's right to receive timely access to records by wholly ignoring plaintiff's requests or delaying the production of records for extended periods of time, often exceeding several months,” the brief in support of the injunction read. “This is yet another example of that practice.
