Nursing Homes Cited For Subpar Equipment

A nursing home has been cited for housing rundown medical equipment that could be used for nursing home patients. One piece of equipment was a rusty wheelchair. The other piece of equipment was a dust-covered suction machine. 

The equipment was identified during an audit of the nursing home that followed a survey completed by the health department. The nursing home disposed of the equipment as a result. For more, read the story
